Automotive sector contraction hampers Borusan Mannesmann earnings
Borusan Mannesmann’s prime-quality product sales decreased by 21% on-year in 2020 to 525,000 tonnes, of which 64% was exported.
2020 Ebitda was TRY 396.48 million ($51.8m), down from TRY 440.79m in 2019. Profit margin fell from 1.44% a year earlier to -0.29%, while Ebitda margin rose to 10.6% from 9.6%.
High value-added drill and well pipe’s share in total prime products revenue was 31% in 2020, the firm says without providing tonnages.
