Borusan Mannesmann commissions welded pipe mill for automotive
Turkish pipemaker Borusan Mannesmann Boru (BMB) has begun commercial production at the new welded pipe mill that has increased production capacity at its site in Halkali, Istanbul.
The move is the first phase of an overall $75 million investment into raising production capabilities at its sites in Halkali and Gemlik to meet expected market growth, particularly in the automotive industry. This was announced by BMB in January (see Kallanish passim). ING …
