BMZ production continues amid blast furnace upgrade: company
Byelorussian Steel Works (BMZ) is reconstructing dust and gas collection unit CCGT-3. Blast furnace No.3 was shut down on 5 October to begin the project.
The plant will continue to operate using two of its three blast furnaces, which will not seriously affect production, the company tells Kallanish.
Total investment amounts to $12 million. Finland’s WaterGroupLtdOY supplied the technological equipment.
