BMZ signs export contracts for $100m
Byelorussian Steel Works (BMZ) has signed several contracts for over $100 million of steel supply following negotiations with buyers in United Arab Emirates and other countries during the Dubai Expo 2020, Kallanish notes.
Belarus has been under Western sanctions since last year, but the plant has not been affected by these thanks to the demand for its steel products on world markets, the firm says. It exports over 80% of its production.
