BMZ resumes production after new social unrest
Byelorussian Steel Works (BMZ) has restarted its electric arc furnaces and steel production has returned to normal, the company tells Kallanish. This follows media reports of new strikes and all three EAFs being halted due to the social unrest seen in Belarus after the presidential election.
“The protest action of the plant workers on Monday lasted for several hours, without significantly affecting production,” the enterprise claims.
