BMZ ramps up steel production, sees market reviving
Byelorussian Steel Works (BMZ) increased steel production in the first half of the year, the company says. It amounted to 1.25 million tonnes, up by 16% on-year, Kallanish notes. Almost 80% of finished products output was exported to 49 countries.
Russia, Israel, Lithuania, Germany and the Netherlands were the main consumers of Belarusian steel.
