BMZ ramps up rolled output, shipments to Netherlands
Byelorussian Steel Works (BMZ) increased production at its rolling mill shop No.2 in January-August, the company says. The mill has produced 3 million tonnes of products in the past five years.
Eight-month exports amounted to 243,000 tonnes, up by 7% on-year for over $102 million, Kallanish notes. The increase in production consists of wire rod of WA-1010 grade that will be sold to a customer in the Netherlands.
