BMZ ramps up export in January-April, European focus
Byelorussian Steel Works (BMZ) continued to ramp up exports in January-April, despite the tense market situation and the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic, the company says.
It shipped more than 717,000 tonnes, up by 13% on-year, to 48 countries, Kallanish notes. Some volumes from Africa and the Middle East were relocated to the European market. Exports to Austria, Spain, Poland, Romania, Finland, France and Switzerland increased by 50% on-year.
