BMZ increases revenue in first quarter despite sanctions
Byelorussian Steel Works (BMZ) increased revenue in the first quarter of 2022 despite Western sanctions against Belarus for participating in the Russian invasion of Ukraine, the company claims.
Revenue amounted to BLR 1.12 billion ($340 million), up by 13.6% on-year, Kallanish notes. The growth rate of product exports is up by 2.4% compared to the level of the first quarter of 2021.
