BMZ eyes increasing steel production by 15%
Byelorussian Steel Works (BMZ) plans to increase steel production this year, says company first deputy general director Anatoly Volkov.
The plant is eyeing to produce 2.3 million tonnes of steel in 2023, up by 15% on-year, Kallanish notes. Last year, steel output at BMZ amounted to 2mt, 16% less on-year. In 2021, crude steel output amounted to 2.4mt, flat compared to 2020.
