Bluescope’s New Zealand operations face strike
BlueScope’s New Zealand Steel and Pacific Steel will be hit by a strike on 19 September. The strike, like a similar dispute at the Port Kembla steelworks, is over worker pay now that the company has returned to bumper profits, Kallanish notes.
