BlueScope’s Malaysian subsidiary remains profitable
Lysaght Galvanized Steel, a Malaysian galvanized roofing supplier owned by Australia’s BlueScope, has seen profits and revenue fall from 2014 but is still making money. The results only highlight the risk to BlueScope’s Australian steelmaking however, Kallanish notes.
