BlueScope sees improving results over coming six months
Australia’s BlueScope saw reported net profit after tax surge 160% in the financial year ending June 2016, and it expects even better earnings in the coming six months, according to its annual results. The company achieved cost savings at its Australian operations, growing sales in Asia and enjoyed a significant boost from its buyout of the outstanding stake in its North American unit, Kallanish notes.
