BlueScope lifts earnings guidance on Trump tariffs
Although most of the beneficiaries of US president Trump’s 25% tariff on steel imports are in the USA, Australia’s BlueScope expects to see profits increase as a result. The company has managed to both win at its US subsidiary and gain an exemption for its own shipments to the US, Kallanish notes.
