BlueScope backs emissions targets to protect coal power
Australia’s BlueScope Steel has come out in favour of a low emissions target. This would mandate a proportion of low-emissions energy supply, over an emissions-intensity scheme. This in turn would mandate average carbon emissions per KWh, ahead of the delivery of a key report to Australian prime minister Malcom Turnbull.
