Chinas $40 billion Indonesia spree could boost Wugang
China and Indonesia signed agreements last week which open up around $40 billion in Chinese lending to Indonesian infrastructure and industrial projects, according to reports. A $5 billion port investment could be of particular interest to Wuhan Iron and Steel (Wugang) which has been studying a steelworks in the country, Kallanish notes.
