Biden administration awards $2.2 billion to transportation agencies
The US Department of Transportation's Federal Transit Administration (FTA) has awarded $2.2 billion to transportation agencies to be issued through funding provided by the American Rescue Plan, Kallanish understands.
According to an update from the FTA, the $2.2 billion will be awarded to 35 transit agencies across 18 states to help cover operational costs and avoid lay-offs.
