Better pricing leads Russel to first quarter profits
North American service centre chain Russel Metals witnessed an uptick in its first-quarter profits, largely due to an 11% year-on-year increase in average metals selling prices, Kallanish reports.
Russel earned CAD 30 million ($21.89m) in Q1 on sales of CAD 804m, up from CAD 8m on sales of CAD 662m in Q1 2016.
