Bengang rebar enters Cameroonian market
Benxi Iron & Steel (Bengang) has signed a 7,400-tonne seismic grade HRB400E-Cr rebar export contract with Cameroon, at a price higher than that of the domestic market.
The product will be used in the construction of the second phase of the Kribi deepwater port project in Cameroon. This is the first time that Bengang rebar has advanced into the “Belt and Road” countries, Kallanish notes.
