Benelux scrap remains firm amid supply shortage
Scrap prices in the Benelux remain mostly stable as weak inflow is preventing prices from falling to Turkish mills’ target levels.
On Monday, Benelux dock prices were pegged mostly at around €305-310/tonne ($331-336) delivered.
However, €300/t was also available from some exporters in Belgium, who remained cautious about the market outlook and were not in a hurry to buy.
