Benelux scrap prices struggle to hold on
Benelux scrap prices were under pressure on Monday due to falling prices in major export destinations and the weaker euro.
Some domestic suppliers were targeting to sell HMS 1&2 80:20 at $365/tonne last weekend, but no exporters were prepared to pay this. Most halted purchases towards the end of last weekend amid a lack of clarity in Turkey, the largest export destination.
