Baytown pipe mill says exemption needed to expand
A Texas pipe mill is trying its own hand at making deals with the Trump administration - in exchange for a two-year exemption from the 25% 232 tariffs, it will build a second, $75 million mill.
If no exemption is forthcoming, says Borusman Mannesmann Pipe USA, the company will lose at least $30m and be forced to cut jobs, according to ceo Joel Johnson.
