Baosteel an unlikely fit for Pakistan say officials
China’s Baosteel is reportedly interested in a long term lease on Pakistan Steel Mills, according to Pakistani media. Chinese steel industry officials tell Kallanish however that Pakistan’s steel market is not an obvious fit for Baosteel’s high-end focus, and smaller steelmakers might be better suited.
