Baosteel Desheng to build stainless hot rolling mill
Baosteel Desheng, parrt of Baosteel's stainless division, plans to start construction of a 1.5 million tonnes/year hot rolling mill in the second half of the year, according to the Fuzhou Daily. The company also expects to commission around 700,000 t/y annealing and stainless pickling capacity in the third quarter of 2018, around three months earlier than originally planned, Kallanish notes.
