Bangladesh imported scrap market slows after brief surge
Bangladesh’s imported scrap market has seen a significant slowdown over the past two weeks, after experiencing a brief surge in activity in the first week of February, notes Kallanish.
Imported offers for Australia- and Brazil-origin HMS 1&2 80:20 scrap are at $410-412/tonne, while shredded scrap is priced between $428-430/t and PNS is at around $434-436/t, all cfr Bangladesh.
