Bangladesh scrap market remains silent on subdued sentiment
Delayed financing coupled with sluggish domestic steel demand has pushed down sentiment in Bangladesh; as a result, very limited scrap transactions have been made this week. A recent fall in local scrap prices has further dampened Bangladeshi mills’ imported scrap bids, sources tell Kallanish.
