Bangladesh scrap market falls silent as prices stagnate
Bangladesh's ferrous scrap market has maintained a subdued tone this week, with a minimal shift in dynamics, notes Kallanish.
Imported scrap prices have largely held steady, with Australia- and Brazil-origin HMS (80:20) scrap priced at $410-412/tonne, shredded scrap ranging between $430-433/t, and P&S scrap at around $435/t, cfr Bangladesh basis.
