Anglo agrees pellet tolling deal with Bahrain Steel
Anglo American has signed a tolling agreement with Bahrain Steel for the Middle Eastern firm to convert up to 6 million tonnes of pellet feed into high-quality iron ore pellet during the next three years. The feedstock will be supplied from Anglo’s Brazilian Minas-Rio mine, Kallanish notes.
The partnership is part of a joint project to develop a more sustainable product and efficient manufacturing processes, Anglo American says.
