Bahrain Steel collaborates with Anglo in logistics decarbonisation
Bahrain Steel, the largest producer of iron ore pellets in the Gulf Cooperation Council, has received pellet feed from Anglo American using a Capesize+ liquefied natural gas (LNG) vessel.
This vessel has 35% lower carbon emissions than those using standard maritime fuel. During the shipment, an electronic bill of lading (eBL) was issued, says Bahrain Steel in a statement seen by Kallanish.
