AVTOVAZ resumes production, prisoners to assemble cars
Russian carmaker AVTOVAZ resumed production of cars on Tuesday after a corporate holiday, which began on 29 May, Kallanish notes.
This was moved forward from 24 July due to disruption in the supply of components from a number of suppliers.
According to the company, this decision was to allow the carmaker to gain time and replace component suppliers, to ensure more rhythmic work in the second half of 2023.
