AVTOVAZ resumes production after semiconductor shortage
Russian carmaker AVTOVAZ has resumed production of cars from 10 June on assembly lines No.1 and No.5 at its Volga Automobile Plant. It had halted output on 2 June due to a lack of semiconductor components, the company says.
First, AVTOVAZ expected to resume production on 4 June in accordance with the semiconductor supplier's plans, but later the halt was extended until 7-9 June.
