Avtovaz plans to double production, presents new model
Russia’s main car producer, Avtovaz, plans to increase production of its flagship LADA Vesta NG model to 150,000 cars this year, says the Samara region government press service.
Serial production began in March 2023 and by the end of last year, 75,000 of these cars rolled off the firm’s assembly line in Tolyatti, which amounted to about 20% of the total production of LADA cars, Kallanish notes.
