Avtovaz increases car output in July
Russian carmaker Avtovaz increased car production amid Western sanctions and a shortage of some auto components, the company says.
In January-July, output amounted to 161,000 vehicles, up by 18% on-year, Kallanish notes. In July alone, Avtovaz and its subsidiaries produced 32,000 units, double on-year and the highest monthly production rate since March 2022, the enterprise claims.
