Avtovaz increases Lada production in January-April
Russia’s main car producer, Avtovaz, increased production of Lada cars in January-April, says company president Maxim Sokolov.
The enterprise ramped up output by 66% on-year to more than 160,000 units, Kallanish notes.
The firm previously said that in April, sales of LADA commercial and passenger vehicles in Russia amounted to 45,551 units, a new record since 2012. In January-April, official LADA dealers sold 137,114 cars, up by 49.2% on-year.
