Mexican automotive producers set new year-to-date export record in May
Vehicle production in Mexico grew slightly year-on-year in May, but recorded an 8.4% y-o-y increase for the first five months of the year, Kallanish learns from the Mexican Automotive Industry Association (Amia).
Output increased by 0.3% y-o-y in May to 288,382 units. Between January and May, vehicle production totalled approximately 1.4 million units, 110,613 units more when compared with the same timeframe in 2014.
