Aumund supplies equipment for Tosyali's Algerian DRI plant
Turkish steelmaker Tosyali has received a hot direct reduced iron (DRI) converter from Aumund Fordertechnik for its DRI plant under construction in Algeria, Kallanish learns from the German technology supplier.
The conveyor, designed for 323 tonnes/hour hot DRI capacity at 750 °C, will connect the shaft furnace to an electric arc furnace at the 2.5 million tonne/year DRI plant, Aumund says in a statement.
