August architectural index increases in US
The architectural billings index rose in August, signalling continued growth in the construction sector, Kallanish learns from the American Institute of Architects.
The index increased to 53.7 in August from 51.9 in July. Readings above 50 generally indicate growth. The index itself measures the 9-12 month lag between billings and actual construction spending.
