Atlas Iron sees margins slump but costs fall
Australia’s Atlas Iron has reported net operating cash flow of just AUD 9 million ($7.17m) in the June quarter, down from AUD 22m in the previous quarter, while shipments were broadly stable at 3.2 million wet metric tonnes. The miner has postponed a decision on its expansion plans as prices fluctuate around its breakeven point, Kallanish notes.
