Atlas Iron fights on, signals upcoming costs respite
Australian mining junior Atlas Iron is battling on, despite seeing its full cash costs overtake its average realised price in the December quarter. The miner shipped out more material than in September quarter and has also restructured its debt to enable further cost savings, it says in its quarterly report monitored by Kallanish.
Atlas shipped 3.6 million wet metric tons of ore in the December quarter, up 10% on the previous three months.
