Atlas boosts Q3 shipments before margins fade
Australia’s Atlas Iron shipped 4.05 million wet metric tonnes of iron ore in the July-September quarter, up 8% from the previous three months, according to its operations report. Margins shrank sharply but the company plans to cut debt and soldier on through a weaker December quarter, Kallanish notes.
