ATI, USW remain stuck on contract healthcare issue
US specialty steel producer Allegheny Technologies Inc (ATI) and the United Steelworkers (USW) labour union remain deadlocked in a contract fight that is now approaching its third month.
The union implemented a strike on 30 March. The union’s previous contract expired in February, Kallanish notes.
The USW claims that it has not heard from ATI since their last bargaining session.
