ATI posts loss as flat-rolled pruning continues
Allegheny Technologies Inc’s first-quarter net loss is a function of the company’s effort to slim down its flat-rolled products business, the company says in its earnings review.
ATI recorded a net loss of $101 million on sales of $758m in Q1 2016. Last year, ATI recorded a net profit of $10m on sales of $1.13 billion, Kallanish notes.
