Astino’s 3Q profit falls on lower sales, margin
Malaysian steel products maker Astino has reported lower earnings for the third quarter ended 30 April 2024 due to lower sales and profit margins, Kallanish notes.
The firm says in a bourse filing that its net profit for the quarter tumbled 36.71% on-year to MYR 8.04 million ($1.7m) from MYR 12.71m. Its revenue for the quarter also fell 13.02% year-on-year to MYR 135.58m.
