Arvedi secures funding, replaces pig iron with scrap
Italian steelmaker Arvedi is to invest €227 million ($274m) for the reconversion of the Trieste site and improvements at its main steelworks in Cremona. The objective is to cut CO2 emissions and produce greener steel, becoming more dependent on ferrous scrap.
