Arrium says antidumping measures not fast or robust enough
Australian steelmakers are under “… enormous pressure” despite the introduction of trade protections, according to Steve Hamer, chief executive of Arrium, formerly OneSteel. The comments made to Australian media suggest come as Arrium rival BlueScope is struggling to keep its last remaining blast furnace in operation, Kallanish notes.
