Argentinian steel production remains depressed in May
The Argentinian steel sector saw activity remain depressed in May due to the effects of the Covid-19 outbreak. Crude steel, hot-rolled steel and cold-rolled flat products output all fell year-on-year, according to data from local steel association Cámara Argentina de Acero (CAA) monitored by Kallanish. The situation continued to worsen in June, CAA says.
