Argentine steel production slumps in March, outlook negative
The Argentine steel sector has begun to suffer from the effects of the Covid-19 outbreak. The country`s crude steel, hot-rolled steel and cold-rolled flat products’ output all fell year-on-year in March, according to data from local steel association Cámara Argentina de Acero (CAA) monitored by Kallanish. The situation has worsened at the beginning of April, CAA says.
