Argentinian steel production drops in April, outlook negative
The Argentinian steel sector saw activity plunge in April due to the effects of the Covid-19 outbreak. Crude steel, hot-rolled steel and cold-rolled flat products’ output all fell year-on-year, according to data from local steel association Cámara Argentina de Acero (CAA) monitored by Kallanish. The situation continues to worsen in May, CAA says.
