Argentina’s steel trade deficit widens in Q1

Argentina saw its first-quarter finished steel trade deficit widen both on-quarter and on-year. During Q1, imports grew considerably, Kallanish notes. According to data from local steel association Cámara Argentina de Acero (CAA), entries in the period exceeded exports by 171,800 tonnes.
