Argentina steel workers avert strike following salary agreement
Argentinian steel association Cámara Argentina de Acero (CAA) has reached an agreement with workers’ representatives over a 45% rise in salaries, Kallanish notes. According to Unión Obrera Metalúrgica (UOM), the increase will be implemented in three stages, between April and October. The improvement will be based on March salaries.
